In 2014, dataTV took that expertise and migrated it to the world of spirits. The Tasting Panel had long been a popular destination for bartenders, restauranteurs, mixologists, sommeliers, craft beer enthusiasts and anyone else in the trade. With the recent purchase of the wine trade publication, SOMM Journal, Tasting Panel knew it needed a drastic shift in its’ then outdated design.
Working with an original, custom-coded ASP-based Content Management System, dataTV was able to give the website a modern, fresh appearance while enabling newer features like Social Media Integration, an enhanced mobile presence and new advertising opportunities on the site. A similar co-branded design went up for SOMM Journal in the Summer of 2014.
Both sites have proven very successful and more innovation to both sites are planned for 2015 and 2016.
